My Project

Our school has a gardening enrichment project that provides students with the practical experience of growing edible food and flowering plants. The gardens help the students learn about ecosystems and how agriculture affects the food they have on their tables at home and in school.

Our school has a small, manageable garden that hosts herbs, a few edible plants, and a pollinator bed for monarch butterflies.

Our students have fun taking care of the garden, tending to the plants, and cleaning our surroundings. Unfortunately, we have a limited supply of what we can plant and how we can obtain materials for planting.

I'd like to ask for your support to help our STEM-aligned middle school students to experience the joy and fulfillment of a thriving garden that grows edible plants and plants that support pollinators and other living species. We are requesting seeds, gardening gloves, knee pads, and potting soil.
