Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project is focused on providing a collection of fiction and nonfiction books for first-grade students. The books will help ignite their imaginations and foster a love of reading while also introducing them to new concepts about the world around them. Fiction books will enhance their storytelling and language skills, while nonfiction books will expand their knowledge of nature, animals, and basic facts in an engaging way.

The goal of this project is to offer students a balanced selection of reading materials that cater to both their creative and educational growth.

By introducing a variety of genres, we aim to increase literacy levels, improve comprehension, and encourage a lifelong passion for learning.

My students are incredibly curious and eager to learn, often showing a deep sense of wonder about the world. They come from diverse backgrounds, and many face unique challenges, but they are all passionate about discovering new things. This project will provide them with the tools they need to explore both the imaginative and real-world possibilities of reading.
