Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students need your help to achieve their reading goals. S.P.I.R.E. is a research-proven reading intervention program that we use on our lowest performing students. Many of my students are two grades below where they should be. This program is designed to build reading success through an intensive, structured curriculum that incorporates phonological awareness, phonics, spelling, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension. My students come to me daily for reading intervention services and count on me to help them become better readers.

The magnetic board and color-coded letter set help students build and manipulate words, while assisting them in differentiating between different types of phonograms.

Alphabet magnets provide an interactive aid for my students to practice manipulating and building words during our daily lesson.

Without the proper materials, my students will not get the benefits of such an amazing reading program and will not see the results that we strive for.
