Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My scholars are an energetic group of kids who have a passion for learning! They are on their individual journeys to college and give their education their all, to make sure they succeed!

Scholars in my class are passionate young learners ready to explore the world through hands-on experiences!

I try and it make it my personal mission, each year, to ensure that my scholars experience as many opportunities as possible!

Being such young minds, my kindergartners are eager to learn literacy and mathematics through the use of games and activities that will get them moving around the classroom, working in partnerships, and exploring with hands-on experiences during Center Time, which occurs daily in our classroom!

My Project

My kindergarten scholars need Osmo games and activities that will help them build numbers and words, recognize letters, and help while writing, through the use of tiles and hands-on games that will connect to our class iPads.

We are also requesting 2 wall decals which will help my young scholars see which groups they will participate in day by day, to help promote independence in the classroom!

These activities and materials will be used daily during Center Time, where scholars work individually or in small groups to enhance their learning experiences. In our classroom, scholars work in Centers to build upon their individual skills.

Whether it's matching numbers, building shapes using Tangrams, learning to recognize numbers, or starting to build words, these materials will help bring learning to life for these little ones, enhancing their learning experiences throughout each day!
