My Students

My students come from rural South Carolina and many do not have pre-school experience when they arrive to us. They have not always been exposed to "outside of the box" thinking. My goal is to change that.

One of the main goals of my classroom is to give the students as many hands on experiences as I possibly can.

I am transforming some of our weekly activities into STEM activities across all of the grade levels I see, from kindergarten to sixth grade.

My Project

These materials will be additional resources for my Math Lab to be able to do more STEM activities.

I teach over 500 students and pieces to my current STEM kits need to be replaced.

I need to be able to access more tools for smaller groups in my classes. My students love our current kits and I want to be able to have them continue to use them and enjoy them for years to come.

My students have loved what we have access to so far, and I can't wait to see where their imagination takes them when we add even more tools to our toolbox.
