Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a 2nd grade teacher, my goal is to inspire my students to become the next generation of engineers, scientists, and problem-solvers. With hands-on STEM learning, students can explore, experiment, and experience the excitement of discovery. However, my classroom is in need of materials that will allow students to dive into engaging, real-world STEM challenges.

That’s where you come in!

With your help, I can provide each student with a STEM bin that will spark creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration. These bins will include a variety of materials, such as building kits, engineering challenges, science experiment supplies, and coding tools—everything my students need to create, experiment, and innovate.

The bins will serve as both an individual and collaborative tool, allowing students to engage in activities like building structures, solving engineering problems, conducting scientific experiments, and programming simple robots. These hands-on projects will not only enhance their understanding of STEM concepts, but, also foster important life skills such as teamwork, persistence, and communication.

By donating to this project, you’ll provide students with the tools to explore their passions, solve real-world problems, and begin to see themselves as future scientists, engineers, and innovators. Your support will make a huge difference in my classroom, and together, we can inspire the next generation of leaders and problem-solvers!
