My Project

The playground consists of two large play structures and four swings. Our students love the swings but there is not enough swings because of lack of funding. Our students spend alot of time in doors on academics but they need the outdoor play time to build physical and social skills. Our students need time to release energy and become more curious. Outdoor play will help out students to become self-directed and likely to stay with a task longer.

As a special education teacher, it is my job to find ways to meet the needs of my students and that is my plan with "Building the Whole Child".
