This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Student-athlete Development is vital in middle school and junior high. Very soon, these student athletes will be at our school and we want them to be ready to compete at a high level with physical strength being at the forefront. To accomplish this goal, We are in need of Olympic weights in order to teach our developing athletes at our middle schools proper technique for ground based explosive lifts. For example the power clean, snatch, etc. We want to help our kids develop and be ready for the big transition in life of junior high to high school. Thank you for your generosity and we want to continue building our future at GCMHS. With your help, we will be able to do so.

We will use the weights at our two middle school feeder programs.

Our middle schools do not have the proper equipment needed to develop our junior high 7th and 8th graders in Olympic lifts. We are in an immediate need for this equipment and we are grateful for any support. Go Patriots!
