My Project

The LEGO sets will serve as a powerful tool for hands-on learning, allowing my students to actively engage with STEAM concepts. By using LEGO bricks, students will be able to physically build and test scientific and engineering principles, making abstract concepts more concrete. These items will help students develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration skills as they design, build, and refine their models. Through creative exploration, students will also improve their understanding of math and art as they measure, calculate, and incorporate aesthetic design into their projects.

The goal of this project is to create an immersive, interactive learning environment where students can explore the interconnectedness of science, technology, engineering, art, and math through exploration.

I want students to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world challenges by building structures, machines, or models that incorporate principles from each of these fields. Through this hands-on approach, I hope to cultivate creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking skills, while also encouraging a deeper understanding of STEAM concepts and how they relate to everyday life.

My students are curious, eager to learn, and have a natural enthusiasm for hands-on activities. They are problem-solvers at heart and thrive when allowed to explore new concepts tangibly. Many of them come from diverse backgrounds and unique experiences, bringing a variety of perspectives and approaches to the classroom. What makes them special is their ability to collaborate and innovate when given the right tools and challenges, and their creativity shines when they are encouraged to think outside the box.
