Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

I am a tenth and eleventh grade English teacher in southwest Virginia, in a very low income area. Technology in many of our schools is lacking greatly and that is why I need your help. Because of lack funds and budget cuts in our district my school has very little up to date technology. I would like a Mimio Interactive board to encourage more student participation and enhance their level of technology. I feel that if they become technology oriented early then these devices will not be foreign to them in college and the work world. Our school only has one Mimio in the English department now and we have to share it between grades 9-12. I would like my students to be exposed to technology on a daily or weekly basis, please Help!
