My Project

My students are all Special Needs children who require a lot of extra support to achieve their goals. Many of them struggle to understand the basic Math, ELA, Social Studies, and Science concepts introduced through standard textbooks. These remedial workbooks introduce ideas in simpler ways and they provide students a path to reach their academic goals.

The students I work with are a diverse group with different individual academic needs.

Their academic challenges range from Learning Disabilities to Speech related issues. My goals for this project are to help each child grow and perform at their highest level.

Our school is a designated Title I school serving a diverse community with many needs. These workbooks will be used every day as part of the class curriculum. Providing my students with tools like these workbooks gives them a greater chance at success, now and in the future.
