Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My kindergarten students are eager learners with diverse needs, and hands-on manipulatives are essential to support their growth in early math and literacy skills. By providing items such as ten frames, magnetic letters, and letter tiles, we aim to create interactive and engaging learning experiences that promote fine motor development, critical thinking, and problem-solving. These manipulatives will offer opportunities for students to explore foundational concepts in a tactile and visual way, helping them build confidence and a deeper understanding. Our goal is to foster a love for learning and ensure that all students, especially those who learn best through play, can access the tools they need to succeed. Our students are unique in their curiosity and energy, and these materials will allow them to thrive in a hands-on, inclusive learning environment.
