Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are eager learners working hard to build their reading skills. They are students who have struggled to become readers and are in need of intense reading intervention. Despite their challenges, my students get excited about learning. Because they require more specialized instruction and practice than most of their peers, they should be provided with engaging materials and supports.

With materials specific to their needs my students, I can focus on the skills they need to become readers.

I will be able to build books, print posters and other visual supports as well as flashcards and games that target their needs using such the pocket folders, card stock paper, markers, and binding combs. The supplies will also be used to create materials for students to take home for additional opportunities to practice the reading skills they are building.
