My Project

In our first-grade classroom, we are working hard to build a love for learning and the confidence to tackle new challenges. One of the ways we do this is through engaging books and tools that make practice fun and exciting. To support my young learners, I’m requesting a selection of the Pig the Pug book series and other fun, engaging books, as well as brightly colored pencils designed to make handwriting practice a joy.

The Pig the Pug series is perfect for first graders because it combines humor with relatable lessons about sharing, kindness, and teamwork.

These books capture students’ imaginations and help them develop important reading comprehension skills. Fun pencils will encourage my students to embrace handwriting practice with enthusiasm, turning what might feel like hard work into an activity they look forward to.

With your support, these resources will spark joy and curiosity in my students, helping them strengthen their reading and writing skills in ways that will serve them for years to come.
