Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our campus has recently brought in gaming to our students through a gaming club and helped them feel some part of the school's culture. Through our brand new Esports team, the students feel like they are truly representing their campus in their unique and creative way.

This project will provide a few XBox consoles, all essential for expanding their learning through gaming.

These resources will allow more students to participate, collaborate, and develop key skills like problem-solving, decision-making, and communication in a fun and engaging environment.

Our goal is to create an inclusive space where students feel confident and motivated to compete, strategize, and grow together, while feeling truly a part of the campus. Many of our students face daily challenges, both of and off campus, and this team offers them a supportive community where they can build resilience, sportsmanship, and leadership skills.

With these resources, we can increase participation, host tournaments, and foster a sense of belonging among students who might not otherwise have access to structured extracurricular activities. Every donation brings us closer to empowering our students with skills that extend far beyond the game.
