Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Although this product is designed for toddlers, it will help my high schoolers solve the famous Tower of Hanoi problem. The Tower of Hanoi is a classic mathematical puzzle that allows students to explore recursive thinking, problem-solving strategies, and the concept of algorithms.

This interactive tool will help my students build perseverance as problem-solvers, critical thinking skills, and valuable experience working through tough situations in groups.

The ability to do this activity with physical manipulatives rather than an online simulator will help build engagement and excitement in the classroom, which will go a long way towards building a positive classroom culture at the beginning of this year. In addition, the physical manipulative aspect will help build understanding for those students in the classroom with learning disabilities.
