Building Peaceful Minds: Sensory Tools for Our Calming Corner!

Help me give my students breathing stress balls and other calming/sensory tools to help students self regulate when they might need a break or space to calm down and refocus.

My Project

This project aims to create a calming corner equipped with sensory tools to help third-grade students take purposeful breaks when needed to self-regulate or refocus. These tools will teach students that it’s perfectly okay to pause, reset, and find ways to regain focus during their day. This project will support multiple third-grade classrooms, where students often arrive needing time to adjust to the structure and expectations of school. By providing access to sensory tools, we hope to foster a positive environment that encourages self-awareness and emotional regulation, helping students thrive academically and socially.
