My Project

My students come from many different backgrounds and have many different learning styles. As a first-year high school ENL teacher, I want to meet all the unique needs of my students. We spend a big part of our day gathering together, learning, speaking, listening, and reading. I want to provide multiple opportunities for students to succeed using carefully chosen materials based on their specific goals as English language learners. Students will have access to flashcards, vocabulary words, and lessons that are fun and engaging.

Our school celebrates diversity on a daily basis, and I am always looking for ways to create a learning environment that appeals to all types of learners.

This will be my first year teaching ENL/TESOL. It would be a great support to know that I will have resources at my fingertips that I can use to modify and scaffold for ELL learners in the school. It would be like having a professional planning partner by my side as I navigate through my first year of teaching.
