My Project

Our kindergarten class has high energy and they love taking part in activities that are hands-on. As we continue to prepare our young learners to begin to read leveled books, we want our students to stay engaged on a given task, as well as retain the sight words, letters and sounds that are taught.

These tactile materials will allow for our students to stay engaged as well as help build our stamina as we work in small groups.

Our sand timers will allow us to stay on task, and help us recognize the time we have left to complete our work. The play dough, sand and paint are all materials that we will use during reading centers to help us learn to spell sight words and build CVC words.

By donating to our project, you will not only help with our stamina building, but you will also be helping our young learners achieve reading greatness!
