My Project

Thanks for your interest in this project where my students and I will be building 4 new computers from scratch, using the components in this grant. Your donation will go a long way in allowing us to purchase the components that we require.

My students will learn about the necessary components of a personal computer, the expenses involved, the relationships to other components, and finally, how to assemble and get a new computer system up and running!

We will use these new computers to create a computer lab, which we can utilize for coding, robotics, graphic design, audio production, word processing, and so much more! It will be exciting to have reliable hardware in the classroom, and it will be empowering for my students to know that they built these systems. Thanks in advance for your support and we can't wait to share our results with you. (This project is in addition to our previous project where we will refurbish classroom computers that we currently have. In total, we will build eight computer systems between the two projects, which will us to create a pretty robust computer lab for our needs.)
