Our preschool classroom is full of diverse children! Most of our children come from low income households. For many of these children, school is a safe place where they can come to relax, play, and learn. School is also a place where some of our children look forward to their next meal. Each child has endless potential, and we want to ensure that every child has what they need to reach their potential.
My Project
Most of the children in our classroom come from low income households. While they may not have many books at home, we provide a plethora of books that enhance language, vocabulary, and spark conversations as well as provide learning experiences. Each morning, when our children arrive, they sign in and go to the carpet to look at a book. The books currently in our library have been used for many years and our children would greatly benefit from some updated books across many subjects! Our goal is to provide all of our students with every opportunity for success.
