Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am requesting two materials to help build my classroom environment! First, I am requesting a Silhouette Cameo; this is a die-cut machine that has capabilities to cut and create a myriad of materials for the classroom! I am also requesting laminating sheets so that I can maintain the materials that I am able to make. With a Silhouette Cameo, I would be able to customize wall displays for student work, help students create gifts for their families, and create labels that would be used throughout the classroom!

After the COVID-19 pandemic, we have seen many students and families having difficulties with maintaining strong attendance at school.

It is my hope that I can bring back more fun and creativity to the environment that we are in every day! By building a bright and creative space for all students, my hope is to improve our classroom environment and give students more excitement in coming to school every day! With these materials, I would be able to customize the materials that are used in decorating the classroom, and therefore better meet the needs and interests of my students!
