Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
These students are from a low-income area and don't get as many opportunities as other children their age. I believe that incorporating new unique opportunities into the physical education program would enhance their skills, not only physically but behaviorally and socially as well. My students are seeking to be encouraged and enjoy showing off the new things they have learned. That is why I would like to introduce them to a variety of different activities that will meet all skills and interest levels.
My Project
The purpose of physical education is to exercise the body and the mind, while having students enjoy being physically active. The idea behind this product request is for students to aim at learning about the different muscles in their bodies while learning cooperation with other students and building self-confidence.
This equipment provides students with visuals that will allow them to learn and challenge themselves not only throughout the school year but as they progress into the next grade.
The materials listed may be used throughout grades K-5 depending on their abilities. Help our students develop physical fitness and build self-confidence for a healthy lifestyle.
