This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Building minds and developing manual dexterity with Rubik's Cube Project is a wonderful opportunity for my students to solve problems, to create algorithms and to develop manual dexterity. This project is also a way to keep them off of any screen interaction and to practice the trial and error method with something in their little hands. Moreover, it is also a great opportunity to come up with solutions through algorithms that can be share between them and other classes. This project is also to fulfill the purpose of the Rubik's Cube creator, Ernő Rubik, which is, "The Cube was built as a teaching tool to help his students understand 3D objects, his actual purpose was solving the structural problem of moving the parts independently without the entire mechanism falling apart."
