Building Mindfulness for Seniors in Brooklyn

My Project

My seniors in Brooklyn are excited for new opportunities both inside and outside of school. The specific items that I'm requesting will aid in their everyday experiences whether we are engaging in community-building days in the park or creating games during advisory. One important goal for this mindfulness project is nurturing joy and trust. Another is promoting calm and serenity.

Whether we are working with LEGOS or enjoying outdoor games with a soccer ball or learning through STEM viewfinder activities, we will all be able to enjoy these materials throughout the year.

Especially with school budget cuts, these items will be so appreciated. We look forward to exploring and learning throughout the school year. What a great way to celebrate the seniors in their last year of high school.
