My Project

I am requesting fractions manipulatives, multiplications manipulatives and a Teachers Pay Teachers gift card so my students can practice these two major concepts taught and learned in 3rd grade.

Learning multiplication facts is the big math event for 3rd graders.

They are expected to know their 1-10 facts by the time they start 4th grade. Students are conceptually taught how to computate multiplication facts but they also need to memorize them. The manipulatives I have requested will help with that.

Fractions are a difficultly concept for most students. The manipulatives I requested will help practice comparing fractions, which is a standard taught in 3rd.

The Teachers Pay Teachers gift card will be used to purchase supplemental activities and games to practice multiplication and fraction skills.
