My Project

I absolutely love the curiosity and resilience my students bring to the classroom each day. They are eager to learn and full of potential, even though they face challenges that require extra support. Each child in my classroom has unique abilities, and it’s my goal to help them build foundational skills in a way that works best for them.

The sensory and game-based counting activities I’m requesting will play a vital role in their learning.

Many of my students have diverse learning needs and benefit from hands-on, interactive activities that engage them both mentally and physically. These counting games will allow them to explore numbers in a fun, tangible way, strengthening their number recognition, fine motor skills, and early math comprehension. The sensory aspect of the games will engage multiple senses, which has been shown to improve retention and focus for young learners, especially those with special needs.

My goal for this project is to create a learning environment where my students feel empowered to explore math concepts and build confidence in their abilities. I want them to see that math is not only achievable but fun, and these resources will provide them with the tools to reach their potential.

What makes my students special is their perseverance and joy for learning. Despite the challenges they may face, they show up every day with enthusiasm and a willingness to try. By providing them with sensory-rich, game-based learning opportunities, I’m helping them succeed in a way that feels natural and motivating. This project will make a lasting impact on their early learning journey.
