Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My kindergarten students are eager to become confident readers, and having the right books at their level makes all the difference. With your support, we can bring more leveled books into our classroom—books that match where students are right now and help them grow stronger every day.

These books support guided reading and build the foundation for strong, independent reading and writing skills!

When children have access to books they can decode successfully, they feel proud, stay motivated, and begin to read independently. These books are essential tools during guided reading sessions, where we work in small groups to build key skills in reading and writing.

Your donation will help my students develop a lifelong love of reading, one book at a time. Thank you for believing in the power of early literacy!
