Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students demonstrate a love for learning when the opportunity is presented to them. They are always excited when I share new ideas and the books and materials that go along with those ideas. My students are very eager to learn something new each day at school.

My students get excited when I bring in a new game to play or a new activity or even a new book to read which helps them to master a new skill, especially learning about feelings and the way they feel.

They are special because they want to learn. They just need more supplies, games, activities, technology, and books to help them get to the next level in their learning.

My Project

During this time of uncertainty, you do not know when we will come back together in the classroom. So I would like to support my students with as much language enrichment as possible during virtual teaching and learning. We will build up language skills daily in virtual class and my students could use these language building skills in everyday situations.

Movement brings on healthy bodies and happy hearts.

I would like to introduce my student to action vocabulary words that will bring them to a point they are active during these times of uncertainty. Talking about words like jump, skip, run and laugh will cause a dynamo affect and they will mimic the actions I do in virtual teaching and learning.
