Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are bright, capable, and eager to learn, but they face unique challenges that make everyday tasks—like managing materials and completing work—more difficult. While organizing assignments and keeping track of important notices may seem simple for many, these tasks require extra support and structure for my students. That’s why I am requesting a tabletop communication center—to provide them with a dedicated space to store materials, submit completed work, and access important classroom information.

This communication center will make a significant difference in my students' learning by fostering independence and responsibility.

With an assigned place to organize their materials, they will develop essential executive functioning skills that will support them not only in the classroom but in daily life. The goal of this project is to create a structured, predictable system that helps my students confidently manage their work and belongings, reducing frustration and increasing their ability to focus on learning.

Every child deserves the tools to succeed, and for my students, this simple yet effective resource will provide the structure they need to thrive. Thank you for considering a contribution to our classroom and for supporting my students as they build the skills they need for success!
