This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My class is a Dual Language PreKindergarten class where scholars enjoy learning and communicating in Spanish.

Our class is bright and creative and enjoy learning in various ways.

We love learning through games, motions, and songs, and enjoy exploring different cultures. The class loves creating art, learning from their big buddies, and showing kindness to those around them.

They look forward to coming to class every day as it is a fun and safe environment for them to grow and explore the world! Together, we grow and explore the world to greater and greater heights!

My Project

We would really like a new area rug for our block center. We can use this rug for sitting on and building safely. We could also use this rug to reinforce colors and basic words in English and Spanish in our Dual Language class.

This rug would benefit my whole class because everyone would be using it.

Our current rug needs to be replaced. It is very worn out. We could play games like find the color "red". We could also play games using the numbers by asking the students to find the object and they would sit on it.
