My Project

As a 4th-grade teacher, I strive to make science exciting, engaging, and accessible for my 70 students. Imagine a classroom where every child gets to build, experiment, and explore science hands-on—your support can make that dream a reality! Hands-on learning is key to developing curiosity and critical thinking, yet our classroom currently has only five Gear Bots, which students take turns assembling. While they love working with these robots, more kits would allow all students to participate more actively. Additionally, science books and materials would help reinforce key concepts and inspire a deeper love for STEM.

With this grant, I hope to secure additional science robot kits, science materials, and a comprehensive science curriculum.

These resources will allow students to engage in meaningful, hands-on activities that align with our science standards. Through robotics, they will develop problem-solving skills, creativity, and teamwork, while science books will provide the foundational knowledge they need to understand real-world applications of STEM concepts.

Many of my students do not have access to STEM materials at home, so it is essential that our classroom provides them with the tools and opportunities to explore science in an engaging way. Having more robot kits will ensure that all students can actively participate in engineering challenges, and a well-rounded science curriculum will give them the background knowledge to connect their hands-on learning to scientific principles.

Your generosity will make an immediate and lasting impact, opening doors to new possibilities for my students. By funding this project, you are helping to cultivate the next generation of engineers, scientists, and innovators. Thank you for believing in my students, their potential, and the power of hands-on learning!
