Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This year I have the pleasure of teaching ESE Middle School science, and would love to give my students hands-on learning by incorporating tools/activities, such as demonstrating plant growth through the use of hydroponic systems, and the exploration of the human skeletal system with a model to reference.

The additional items that I'm requesting for my classroom will also aid them with both their sensory and other reinforcement needs.

Flexible seating will allow my students to practice self-determination and gain a greater sense of autonomy. The fidgets and other sensory items will allow them to meet their sensory input needs, better enabling them to focus and complete their school work.
