My Project

COVID-19 has had a huge impact on the social well-being of students. Many kindergartners coming in haven't had many opportunities to develop fine motor skills. Many of them are used to playing on a phone or tablet. The requested games, sorting activities, counting activities, sensory bins, and the different kinds of tweezers will allow students to use their hand muscles. By developing students' fine motor skills, this will help students increase their ability to write, cut, and increase eye-hand coordination. These materials will also help students learn how to work together, building a sense of teamwork and community. These materials will not just impact my students this school year but will continue to impact students year after year.
