My Students

I have amazing students! These energetic children are filled with enthusiasm and wonder. . My little learners are learning developmentally appropriate skills that will prepare them for kindergarten and beyond. My goal is to teach lessons where they have opportunities to fully engage and interact with hands-on materials that are engaging and challenging. In preschool, they are learning social, language, cognitive, and motor skills as well as independence and creativity.

Every day they learn something new and every day I learn something too.

There is never a boring moment and just that thought puts a smile on my face and in my heart. It has been a tough year for my Title 1 students, but they are resilient and the results are evident in the progress they have made.

My Project

I love teaching preschool. In preschool, students learn pre-academic skills and learn how to work cooperatively with others. Our class is just beginning the building study. The students will be learning the in’s and out’s of buildings and why they are important within our community.

My students need a variety of material and tools to help them learn hands on.

Having a variety of building materials will allow my students' to learn and understand why we need buildings and how they impact their community. The request items will give my students the opportunity to become mini builders so they really dig into the study. This study supports their learning in the areas of mathematics, socialization and language development. Thank you in advance for your interest in our classroom and we can’t wait to build, explore and learn in pre-k.
