Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our students come from different backgrounds and languages. For many of our three and four year olds, this will be their first experience in a classroom. We provide them with support and care to make their education journey an enjoyable one. This will be the first year we open our doors to 3-K.

My Project

As a STEAM teacher, I will incorporate science, technology, art, math and engineering into our students' learning.

Our students learn through play and experiences.

These materials are important for our STEAM classroom because they help foster critical thinking, problem solving and creativity when they build. Our students will use these materials in our STEAM classroom and incorporate them in our units of study. These materials will provide an opportunity for students to build homes, characters, vehicles and so much more!

This is my first year as a STEAM teacher so these materials would mean so much to my classroom. Although I have taught Pre-K previously, I did not have these engineering resources. Thank you in advance for helping me provide materials for our future engineers.
