Building Empathy by Giving Back to a Cause!

Help me give my students DIY canvases, t-shirts and materials needed to utilize their creativity and talents and develop products that will help raise money for a cause of their choosing.

My Project

The project will help students build EMPTAHY, communication, social connectedness, teamwork, and many other social-emotional aspects. It will also help promote a deeper understanding and empathy for what is going on in our world! The push for community action projects is essential in enabling students to be actively aware of the various difficulties that exist in our society, especially the increased violence in our communities. Students will have the opportunity to promote Peace through their words, and designs and through creating fashion products that will be featured in an end-of-year fashion show. All acquired proceeds from their designs will be donated to various charity causes that promote peace!
