This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Hi, I am the Resource Specialist Teacher. My superstar students are always eager and motivated to learn. Unfortunately, many of the students I work with are reading way below grade level. Please help me fund decodable books to help these students master their foundational reading skills.

My Project

This project will help my students who have different disabilities learn and practice their foundational reading skills. Many of our students are reading below grade level. This is disrupting their instruction and causing the students to have a tough time in their classes. Many of my students have asked me to please help them learn how to read or brush up on their reading skills. I am all for this; however, it can be challenging to push the students to their full potential with limited resources. I am asking for decodable books for upper grade students and a book shelf to store these materials. Would you please help me get some materials that can help build more confident readers?
