Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are my inspiration for doing my best. They strive to succeed each day, no matter if they are tired or having a not so good day. They come each day following the Warrior Way, our words for our school: We are responsible. We are respectful. We are ready to learn!

Our school is in always in need of our support!

Parents are only able to help so much; we can do so much more! We need more support from you! Let's give these children the tools they need to reach for the stars! These children are our future!

My Project

I believe that given the chance to come together as a group will help my students to be more comfortable with themselves and with each other. We can grow as a team and become more successful in our academic studies. Building a sense of community will help to make it a more positive environment and put an end to the negativity that attempts to circulate the school environment. This will also help to build more relationships! Besides morning meeting, I would like to have my students gather for some whole or small group instruction, Leader in Me and other social-emotional lessons, even for some STEM building activities!
