My Project

Every morning I read a picture book to my students. My students thrive on our daily read aloud routine--it helps us build our literacy skills, social-emotional skills, and gives us strong, collective experiences. These picture books will give my students an outlet for their imaginations, feelings and satisfy our academic and social-emotional needs

There are so many amazing books in this project.

These books are going to make us burst out with laughter. I've included interactive books like "Behold! It's UniPig!" and "The Duck Never Blinks." There are also examples of books that will begin our school year with a brilliant start like "Mr. S: A First Day of School Book" and "The Book of Rules" and "The Yellow Bus"--all funny and interactive. I also found "The Museum of Very Bad Smells: A Dare to Scratch and Sniff Mystery," which is by far the most intriguing of them all.

These are books that we need in our classroom. My students will be inspired, engaged, and positively impacted. These books will help us build our classroom community.
