Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My first graders are eager learners who love hands-on activities that challenge their thinking. At this stage, they are developing foundational skills in problem-solving, reasoning, and pattern recognition. I strive to create a classroom where learning is engaging, interactive, and meaningful.

I am requesting critical thinking and pattern recognition games to help my students develop essential problem-solving skills.

These games will strengthen their ability to recognize patterns, think strategically, and engage in logical reasoning—key skills for future academic success.

With these games, my students will:

Recognize patterns and sequences with Q-Bitz, Pattern Play, and Spot It! 1-2-3

Develop problem-solving skills with ThinkFun Rush Hour, Mental Blox, and Zingo 1-2-3

Explore early coding concepts with Code & Go Robot Mouse

Strengthen memory and reasoning with Five Crowns and Picasso Cubes

Pattern recognition, sequencing, and logical thinking are critical for early math, STEM, and problem-solving skills. These games will help my students build confidence, think critically, and develop a love for learning.
