Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project aims to support preschool children, including those with special needs in developing essential social-emotional skills through structured activities, stories, and play. The focus is on fostering self-awareness, social awareness, emotional regulation, and positive interactions with peers and teachers. As part of the preschool counseling program, this project will help create a foundation for a healthy, supportive learning environment where children can thrive socially, emotionally, and academically.

The weighted animals, fidget toys and social emotional learning books will created a calming corner that helps children with emotional regulation, find a safe space, teach self-calming techniques and encourage positive behavior.
