My Project

Students in my middle school Spanish class will have the opportunity to build their vocabulary skills and knowledge about cultures in Latin America through games, picture books, and skill cards. Picture books and games give students a way to practice the vocabulary they are learning in authentic ways. Books about typical foods, artists, and cultural celebrations give students a way to connect with cultural elements in engaging ways. Through using these materials students will build global thinking skills and discover the common elements they share with other cultures and inspire a sense of adventure to try new things and use a growth mindset.
