My Project

My students are incredibly special, each with unique strengths, interests, and ways of learning. They are curious, imaginative, and eager to grow, and my goal is to help them develop both academically and emotionally. Using indoor games like board games, Connect 4, building blocks, Legos, fidget spinners, and calming stress toys provides an ideal environment for them to learn, improve, and thrive in a fun and engaging way.

Socially, games like board games and Connect 4 foster important skills such as turn-taking, cooperation, and communication.

These activities encourage students to interact with their peers, share ideas, and build friendships. Through friendly competition, they learn how to handle both winning and losing with grace, promoting empathy and respect for others.

Emotionally, fidget spinners and calming stress toys help students manage stress and stay grounded, providing a moment of calm when needed. These simple tools help students regulate their emotions and develop the resilience to stay focused, even when challenges arise. By practicing self-control, students build confidence in their ability to manage their feelings.

Intellectually, activities like blocks and Legos enhance problem-solving, critical thinking, and spatial reasoning. As students construct different shapes and structures, they engage in creative thinking, learning to approach challenges from various perspectives and refine their cognitive abilities.

Creatively, these games spark imagination, allowing students to build and invent freely. Whether designing a Lego castle or creating a unique block structure, students explore endless possibilities and express their creativity, further developing their problem-solving and storytelling skills.

Ultimately, these indoor games not only help my students stay calm but also nurture their overall growth in a holistic, enjoyable way.
