Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These Magna-Tiles are going to be useful in the Computer Science classroom and my other classrooms in order to get a real sense of what is happening with coding. Many students have a hard time visualizing the concepts and these manipulatives will assist with solidifying the concepts.

My goals for this project is to get more access to the Computer Science curriculum.

Having the tools make this class more accessible to a wide range of students and can start to address the equity issue in my computer science classroom.

The students in this classroom are exploring their interest in a field that is rapidly growing and I want them to be successful to continue on the path of learning computer science in order to choose this path as a career.
