My Students

The thing I love most about my students is that they are so sincere. They love, feel, and think with their hearts first. They embrace what it means to be a kid, and really live their best lives despite hardships and struggles. They constantly surprise me and make my days better.

My students have incredible potential to become independent free thinkers, and I do my very best to inspire them on a daily basis.

I want them to go places I could never go, using what I have taught them as stepping stones along the way.

My Project

This will allow us to scan all of the books we have in school and give students access at home! This is cost-effective and allows us to tap into a resource that students cannot access without being in the classroom. Remote learning poses challenges for presenting the material. This tool helps us take a step in the right direction, giving equity to students that need it. Students have shown significant growth using our library. Teachers will also be able to scan mentor texts to model lessons for students using this scanner.
