My Project

I am starting to create a classroom environment that cultivates a passion for math by following the research of Peter Liljedahl, an educational researcher. He has written the book "Building Thinking Classrooms in Mathematics." This type of classroom has students engaged in learning by standing and communicating in groups using a poster paper or standing whiteboards. Students need dry erase markers to do the math presented. They also need the paper to get the instructions needed to work together. Please help foster a classroom that has students standing and engaged together to develop critical math and thinking skills.
