Building a Thinking Classroom

My Project

During the pandemic students were isolated at home while sitting too much doing their learning. Kids need to move their bodies and interact with each other. Research shows that students learning from each other is an effective strategy. By providing students with vertical whiteboards in the classroom students will be given the opportunity to work collaboratively on whiteboards around the room instead of completing tasks at their desks on paper. Students will be able to participate in age appropriate movement in which they can complete given tasks and solve problems together. Using dry erase markers and erasers on a whiteboard surface allows them to be free to make mistakes without judgement.
