This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I need professional learning books to acquire new skills so that I can best support my students. I want to create a fun and discussion rich classroom for students.

I want to transform my classroom into a thinking haven.

Help me to become a master at Number Talks with my students, giving them the tools they need to be critical thinkers. Help me to increase the effectiveness of number talks in my 5th grade classroom. These books are great resources to help me improve my pedagogy. These books will give me ideas to increase the impacts of the mathematical routines we use in class. These books will help me find new engaging strategies for students.
