My Students

My students come to school every day excited and ready to learn! They are eager to learn and try new things. I want them to know that I believe in them and they can do anything! I teach at a Title I Pre-K through 2nd grade school in inner-city Ohio where 100% of our students receive free breakfast and lunch. Most of the students are living at or below the poverty line. My students are creative, caring, and very energetic. Our classroom is a hands-on learning community. I work with children who are four- and five-years old.

Their ability to love learning excites me to find new and exciting ways to teach things to them.

They love to learn about new things. They love to look up information online together and will ask many questions to learn as much as they can.

My Project

My classroom is full of young and unique learners who learn differently. Many of my students are more engaged at centers when they have manipulatives and fun games to work with. My students need games and activities that focus on number recognition, counting, letter identification, and small motor movements. I have requested some useful hands-on materials such as Fine Motor Math Centers Complete Set, Snap Design Monster Trucks, Mix Match Magnetic Dinosaurs, and Mix Match Magnetic Farm Animals to give my students a chance to succeed in these concepts.

Your generous donation to our project will help improve our Pre-K classroom by building strong math, reading, and fine motor foundation.

This will change our students' lives for the better because they will love school and feel successful at an early age while having fun!
